The Max Home frame combines carefully selected hardwoods (mostly oak) with kilm dryed engineered woods. All joinery is dowelled, glued, corner-blocked and fastened for strength and stability.
The MAX Sinuous Spring Suspension is made of 7.5 gauge heat tempered steel springs. This spring is the strongest sinuous spring used in the furniture industry today. Max Home's standard sofas have 15 springs in the seat. Where an arm meets the frame, springs are doubled and tied down on the arm side to prevent rolling. Inside backs also have sinous springs, which add to the sofas comfort and long lasting support.
Max Home's feather/downblend seat cushions are composed of a high density foam core inserted into a channeled casing of 50% polyester hollowfill, 45% feathers and 5% down. Max Home's feather/downblend back cushions and accent pillows are composed of 50% polyester hollowfill, 45% feathers and 5% down in a channeled casing. The casings are made of heavy downproof ticking, designed to hold back movement of the feather and down.
Max Home's seat cushions have a 1.8 lbs high resilient foam core. The thickness of the foam core is appropriate to the frames' design. We book wrap the core with virgin polyester fiber, then encase the cushion before inserting into the fabric casing. The premium foam seating has back cushions and accent pillows filled with virgin hollow denier slickened polyester conjugate fiber. Extruded through a helix, it resembles a cylindrical spring. The fibers are resistant to matting and clumping. All cushions have a custom cut inner casing, making the cushions look neat and well tailored.

We use a heavy duty tubular steel fold-up mechanism which give the sleeper strength and stability. The headrest is adjustable for TV viewing or added reading comfort. Our sofa bed mattress is supported by the mechanisms trampoline style spring system. A 5 inch thick innerspring, no flip mattress sits on top of the mechanism . A queen sized sofa bed has 644 coil springs. Ample padding over the springs and a platinum colored diamond quilted mattress ticking add to it's softness and comfort.
